One of Small Business Server (SBS) 2003's greatest assets is Remote Web Workplace (RWW). It allows you to bridge remote users to company assets with nothing more than a browser. It even lets administrators gain complete control of servers and workstations in the network, from literally anywhere in the world.
The obvious problem is that there is no assurance that the person connecting in is actually the administrator. Is it your staff member, or someone else who knows the password and is pretending to be him. In MSP environments, that's even more critical... as a handful of staff could be managing hundreds of client networks and devices. All using the same shared credentials. What do you do when a staff member leaves?
Watch the short 5 minute video below to see how you can use AuthAnvil RWWProtect to prevent such access, or how you can add
AuthAnvil support to enforce identity assurance protection for administrators accessing Remote Web Workplace in a matter of minutes.
